NIJ Level IV is the highest protection rating defined by the National Institute of Justice, certified to defeat a single .30-06 M2 armor-piercing round at 2,880 ft/s. Level IV plates offer the greatest stopping power available to civilians and law enforcement, suitable for high-threat environments where rifle-caliber AP rounds are a realistic concern.

All Level IV plates in this collection are independently certified to NIJ 0101.06 or the updated 0101.07 standard.
