SAPI Plates

SAPI (Small Arms Protective Insert) plates are the military-standard cut for front and back ballistic protection, designed to fit MOLLE plate carriers and tactical vests with SAPI pockets. Hoplite Armor stocks SAPI plates across every NIJ protection level: Level IIIA for handgun threats, Level III+ for rifle rounds including 5.56 and 7.62x39, Level III++ for enhanced multi-hit performance, and Level IV for armor-piercing threats up to .30-06 M2 AP.

Our SAPI plates are sourced from trusted manufacturers including Leading Technology Composites (LTC), HighCom Armor, and RMA Armament, all US-based producers with proven track records in law enforcement and military supply. Materials range from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) for lightweight builds to ceramic composite for maximum stopping power.
