RMA's Level IIIA Body Armor Plate (Model #0226 Gen-2) is the lightest, thinnest standalone hard armor plate in RMA's lineup — weighing just 0.88 lbs and measuring only 0.25" thin. Manufactured from press-hardened UHMWPE at RMA's Centerville, Iowa factory, the 0226 Gen-2 delivers NIJ 0101.06 certified Level IIIA protection against all common handgun rounds including 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .357 Sig, and .44 Magnum.
The 10"×12" multi-curve design fits seamlessly into most plate carriers, concealable carriers, and backpacks.
