The Hoplite Armor Level III++ Hard Armor Shoulder Plate weighs only 1.4 lbs. per plate and at only 0.75″ thick.

It is rated to stop 5.56 (M193), .308, 7.62×39 Mild Steel Core and M855 / Greentip rounds.
