Our level IV swimmer plates are the best deal available for top quality armor. The materials allow projectiles to be absorbed within the plate. This prevents dangerous spall common with steel plates.

Each 8x10 and 10×12 inch single-curve hard armor swimmer cut plate is certified NIJ 0101.06 Level IV Stand Alone. They use a high-density alumina ceramic core with polymer composite fiber.

These level IV swimmer plates (26625) are NIJ CERTIFIED to 0101.06 standards. Note the 26225 plates are NIJ 0101.04 certified.

Personal preference is vital when choosing the right size armor. You must feel comfortable to maximize the system's effectiveness. Standard plates were once 10x12. Military specs now range from Small to Extra Large. Medium (9.5x12.5) fits 95% of military personnel.
