RMA's Level IIIA Soft Armor Inserts (Model 0214) are American-made, ultra-light flexible panels that deliver NIJ 0101.06 certified protection against 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .357 Sig, and .44 Magnum. Built from cutting-edge lightweight para-aramid, these flexible panels are only 0.35" thin and weigh just 1.15 lbs in the 9.5"×12.5" size.
The 0214 panels fit seamlessly into any SAPI-shaped plate carrier and are popular as backpack armor inserts for discreet, on-body protection. They can also be worn "In Conjunction With" (ICW) hard armor plates to increase protection levels and further reduce blunt force trauma from impacts.
Each insert is tested to meet or exceed NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA standards and carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. Price is per panel.
